Work from the French source and the English translation

Upload a French interview, recorded talk or customer conversation. The service transcribes the spoken French and then translates that transcript into English. Keep both documents when you need to review a quotation or explain the source of a translated statement.

Check dates, similar-looking words and tone

A familiar-looking French word can mean something different in English. “Actuellement” usually means “currently”, for example. Spoken dates, numbers and polite forms also deserve review. Compare the French passage with the recording when an English phrase seems surprising or changes the speaker’s tone.

Download text for your next step

Download the original and translated results as DOCX, PDF or TXT. Turn on speaker recognition for an interview and check the labels before attributing quotes. The English website text, French audio and English output are separate choices. If translation fails, you can still access the source transcript.

From upload to download

  1. Upload your file

Open the workspace, choose your recording and select its spoken language. Set an optional translation language separately and enable speaker recognition if useful.

  2. Review the cost

Check trial availability and the price for the remaining recording. You can pay once without an account. To use tokens, log in with enough balance.

  3. Start processing

Confirm full processing through the payment or token route shown. Follow progress in the workspace; processing time depends on your recording and the queue.

  4. Review and download

Check important passages, then download TXT, PDF or DOCX. A completed translation is a separate result from the source transcript.

Yes, but by appointment only.

Files, languages and limits

Upload formats
MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4, MPEG, MPGA, OGG, OGA, FLAC and WEBM. Video files are processed for audible speech.
Maximum upload
64 MB per file on this installation, with up to 120 minutes of audio. Split longer recordings and choose a smaller file if it exceeds the upload limit.
Text downloads
TXT, PDF and Word (DOCX). A completed translation and the source transcript are separate downloads.
Speakers and time references
With speaker recognition, the text includes speaker labels and start/end times for speech segments. Labels may differ between parts of a longer recording; check who is speaking. Without speaker recognition, you receive continuous text without these segment times.
Quality and keeping results
Check names, figures, specialist terms and quotes against the recording. Unused uploads expire after 24 hours, source audio 24 hours after delivery and guest results after seven days. Download results you want to keep.
Availability
Each account or guest can upload up to five new recordings per UTC day. Shared daily and capacity limits can also restrict uploads temporarily. The workspace shows a message when a limit is reached.

Frequently asked questions

What do I select for French audio to English?

Choose French in the spoken-language field and English in the translation field. Review the cost, start the full processing and download both available text results.

Can I review the original French wording?

Yes. The French source transcript is kept separately from the English translation. Check both against the recording when a quotation, name or number matters.

Will French accents or fast speech affect the text?

They can. Noise, pace, pronunciation and overlapping voices affect the source transcript, and source errors can carry into the translation. Review difficult passages.

Can I use the translation as a final official document?

Review it for the intended use. This automatic text workflow does not provide a certified translation; important terminology and factual details need your own check.
